DIRECTIONS TO AMERICUS FROM ATLANTA ON I-75 SOUTH

Take I-75 South towards Macon. Take the I-475 South Bypass to Valdosta. The bypass will merge back onto I-75 South. Take the Montezuma - Hawkinsville Exit No. 41(Highway 26). Take a right off the exit ramp onto Highway 26. Travel approximately 20 miles and take a left onto Highway 49. Travel on Highway 49 approximately 17 miles to Americus. At the first stop light in Americus bear right onto Forsyth Street. Travel on Forsyth Street until the third traffic light and turn left onto Lee Street. The First Baptist Church is located on Lee Street on the right. Take a right from the church onto Lee Street. Travel approximately 2 miles to the Americus Country Club located on Lee Street on the left. **If you are traveling from Columbia take I-20 West to I-75 South and follow the preceding directions.

DIRECTIONS TO AMERICUS FROM SAVANNAH ON I-16 WEST

Take I-16 West until you come to the Cochran – Montrose Exit No. 11 (Highway 26). Take a left off the exit ramp to Cochran and Hawkinsville. Take a left in Hawkinsville onto Highway 27 to Vienna. Follow Highway 27 through Vienna and take a left on Highway 27 to Americus. Come into Americus on Highway 27, which is a one way street. Follow Highway 27 through Americus until it crosses Lee Street. Take a left onto Lee Street. The First Baptist Church is located on Lee Street on the right. Take a right from the church onto Lee Street. Travel approximately 2 miles to the Americus Country Club located on Lee Street on the left.

DIRECTIONS TO AMERICUS FROM COLUMBIA

Take I-20 West to exit 50 Madison/Monticello(GA exit that is) - you will be on HWY 83 Turn Left on to 83 towards Monticello. You will go thru a small town (4-way stop) called Shady Dale. Continue on 83 to Monticello. In Monticello, you will come to a traffic light. Take a right and go around the town square. At next light go straight on 83 towards Forsyth. Follow 83 all the way to Forsyth. In Forsyth, get onto Interstate 75 South and follow the direction from Atlanta to Americus on Interstate 75.
